Four summer lessons, one tutor, before Term 1 starts.
Two programs, each four one-hour lessons with one tutor: a January head start for students sitting the 2027 HSC, and a bridging program for Year 10 students about to begin Year 11 maths. Both are charged at the published hourly rate, nothing on top.
January HSC head start.
Students sitting the 2027 HSC in Mathematics Standard 2, Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2 or Physics. They have been on the HSC course since Term 4, and Term 1 starts on Wednesday 3 February 2027.
Four one-hour lessons, one-on-one, online or at home in Sydney, at times you choose inside that window. Two a week, over two weeks, leaves time for the homework between lessons.
- 1
Where things stand
A short diagnostic on the Term 4 topics from your school's own program, plus the assessment schedule for Term 1. The tutor writes down what is solid and what is not.
- 2
The weakest Term 4 topic
Taught again from the start, with the student doing the work. Not a summary, a rebuild.
- 3
The first Term 1 topic
A head start on what the class meets in February, so the first weeks of term are revision rather than new ground.
- 4
Exam habits and a plan
A short timed set under exam conditions, marked together, and a written study plan for Term 1 that the family keeps.
A written note after every lesson, a marked diagnostic, and a Term 1 plan. If it works, the same tutor continues weekly in February. If not, no obligation.
The published hourly rate, times 4. No joining fee. Pay after each lesson by card, or up front. First lesson guaranteed.
A reply within 24 hours, from the founder. No charge to ask.
Year 10 to 11 maths bridging.
Year 10 students starting Year 11 in 2027 in Mathematics Standard 2, Advanced, or Advanced with Extension 1. Year 11 is where the maths gets steeper, and the gaps that hurt are Year 9 and 10 gaps.
Four one-hour lessons, one-on-one, online or at home in Sydney, spread across the summer at times you choose. Two in December and two in January keeps the maths warm without taking over the holidays.
- 1
A diagnostic on the foundations
Algebra, indices and surds, quadratics, linear functions and trigonometry: the Year 9 and 10 work that Year 11 builds on. The tutor marks it and tells you plainly whether the chosen course looks right.
- 2
The weakest foundation
Rebuilt properly, with practice the student does in the lesson and between lessons.
- 3
The second weakest
Same again. Two solid foundations change how Year 11 feels.
- 4
A preview of Year 11
The first topic of the chosen course, so the first weeks of term are familiar: functions for Advanced, the further work on functions for Extension 1, formulae and equations for Standard 2.
A marked diagnostic, honest advice on the course choice, and a written note after every lesson. The tutor can continue weekly from February.
The published hourly rate, times 4. No joining fee. Pay after each lesson by card, or up front. First lesson guaranteed.

Common questions.
Is this a group course?
No. Every lesson is one tutor and one student, online or at your home, at times you choose inside the program window.
Who teaches it?
A tutor matched to the student and the course, interviewed, ID-checked and WWCC-verified by Crestio, or Lenin Joaquin himself. You know who it is before the first lesson.
What does it cost?
Four lessons at the published hourly rate for the level, nothing more. The HSC head start is $340 online or $440 in-home ($380 or $500 for Extension 2). The Year 11 bridging program is $300 online or $380 in-home. Pay after each lesson by card, or all four up front if you prefer.
Does the first-lesson guarantee apply?
Yes. If the first lesson is not the right fit, we re-match you or refund that lesson.
Can the tutor continue in Term 1?
Yes. If you want the same tutor weekly in Term 1, the slot is booked at the end of the program. There is no obligation either way.
Weekly tutoring during term is on the pricing page. Both programs can lead into it with the same tutor.
Ready to find your tutor?
Leave your number. Lenin calls you back, hears what your child needs, and matches the right tutor. No obligation, no joining fee.
